The RGV Golden Gloves is one of the most prestigious amateur boxing tournaments in South Texas, drawing athletes from across the region. Winners advance to the State and National Golden Gloves tournaments.

- All athletes must hold a valid USA Boxing Membership

- USA Boxing Registration : All participants must be registreed members of USA Boxing.
- Age and Weight Eligibility : Boxers must meet specific age and weight criteria establised by the RGV Golden Gloves organization.
- Medical Clearance : physical must be uploaded to USA Boxing and verified with Birth Certificate.
- Citizenship : non-citizens may compete in the tournament, however they are non eligable to advance.
- Affiliation with a Boxing Club : it is not mandatory but adviable. If the club is not registered with USA Boxing athlete will be announced as unattached.
- Registraion must be completed online through webpoint.
Unapposed athletes will not be receiving an award. Walkovers will receive a participation award.
